HOW DOES IT WORK?

Experience a city by playing a challenging escape game! It is an engaging and fun activity that you can do with family and friends.

City Escape Games is a collection of outdoor escape games where you have to find the secret path through a virtual barbed wire. 25 exciting missions will lead you to the secret gate.

Each correct answer reveals the next challenge on an interactive map on your smart phone or tablet. All wrong answers result in a penalty - 45 seconds of waiting before the next attempt.

Your quest will take you to fascinating places around the city. The challenges include interesting facts, general knowledge, fun trivia puzzles and other entertaining missions.

You can play City Escape Games on any smart phone or tablet. The games are controlled via our app Loquiz - just download it for free from the App Store or Google Play.

You can always take a break, but then keep in mind that the game time rolls on... I.e. reaching the top list will then be tough!

how to get started

1. Choose a game

Choose a city and a game. If you want to compete in more teams against each other, add more games to your cart. Then pay online.

2. instructions by e-mail

After payment, you will soon receive an email with instructions and your username and password. The username and password will open your unique game in your chosen city.

3. download the Loquiz app

The Loquiz app is available on the App Store or Google Play and is completely free. The app is then used to play your city escape.

4. LOG IN

Enter the username and password you received by email. Then, when you want to start the game, enter a team name of your choice and the game will start. You can start the game whenever you want.

5. start playing

Play your game straight through or split it into rounds, at your own pace. You decide completely. It takes about 2 hours of effective time to play a city.

6. Complete the challenge

Once you have completed the challenge, you will see your escape time directly in the top right corner of your screen. The very best times in each city are shown on our Leaderboard on cityescapegames.com.

City Escape Games are not time limited. It's up to you how much emphasis you put on beating your competitors or exploring the city's treasures. You can pause at any time, but remember - only the fastest times will make it to our prestigious leaderboard!

Who can play?

Currently, all games are suitable for players from mid-teens and older. Soon we will launch parallel games for children but in the meantime, children can very well participate in solving missions with a little help, or take the lead in navigating the city streets with the interactive map.

Your responsibility

The games do not contain any challenges that may put you in danger or encourage illegal behavior. Although City Escape Games through the company Active Minds Events AB provides this game, you as a player are responsible for your own actions. We encourage you to respect the local laws and regulations that apply where you are, to be careful with other people's property and to respect people's right to privacy. Be aware of pickpockets in big cities and be careful in traffic. And last but not least, wear comfortable shoes.
